Patricia Williams Diaw, The Ethnographer
Patricia Williams Diaw, The Ethnographer
Conducting doctoral research and examining historical documents to
find meat for stories with historical contexts, I have discovered a love
for ethnography. Moreover, much of my writing is related to people and
culture. For example, the poetry in my recently released book of
poetry, "Recipe: Thirty-Two Poems about Life critiques six decades of living in America. I Am Minerva is
an historical fiction to be released early 2021 that continues the
discussion about growing-up during segregation and witnessing the Civil
Rights movement (and much more). In fact, I have lived in the 1950s,
1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s and now the 2010s. I have experienced a lot,
and have a lot to share with the world, in my writings.
